This 30-unit online PSM degree provides maximum flexibility to students, many of whom are working professionals. The program is designed to be completed in 18 months.
Unlike existing master’s programs in nutritional science, the PSM includes 11 units of graduate-level practicum during which students will work with a partner organization to complete approximately 270 hours (45 hours per unit of credit) of supervised practice that will serve as their graduate capstone project. Students will also complete 6 units of PLUS coursework tailored to their profession and/or professional development goals.
This program is programmatically accredited; students are required to complete a dietetic internship to be eligible to sit for the RDN credentialing exam. (See the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics/ACEND.)
*Residents of some U.S. Territories may not be eligible. Please see our Eligibility & State Authorization page for more information.
