This 30-unit online PSM degree provides maximum flexibility to students, many of whom are working professionals. The program is designed to be completed in 18 months.
Unlike existing master’s programs in nutritional science, the PSM includes 6 units of graduate-level practicum during which students will work with a partner organization to complete approximately 270 hours (45 hours per unit of credit) of supervised practice that will serve as their graduate capstone project. Students will also complete 6 units of PLUS coursework tailored to their profession and/or professional development goals.

Prerequisites include a bachelor’s degree in nutrition with a 3.0 undergraduate GPA. Other majors may be considered but require coursework in anatomy/physiology, biochemistry, and a senior-level nutrition and disease course.
