How to Apply

Undergraduate Students

You are an undergraduate student if you are planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

Step 1Review Admissions Requirements

The coursework competency requirements vary by program. Explore UA Online Programs and connect with an Enrollment Counselor to determine your admissions requirements.

Step 2 Complete Your Application

Ready to apply? Complete the application form through the online portal. Undergraduate students can create or log in to your UA Future account to track your application status.

A complete application includes:

  • A completed online application form
  • Payment of application fee
  • Official high school/college transcript(s)

Step 3 Submit Your Transcript(s)

If you are 22 years of age or older when you apply and have 12 or more transferable college credits, you do not need to submit your high school transcript. However, if you are over 22 years of age and have under 12 transferable college credits when you apply, your official high school transcript(s) is required.

An official high school transcript must be sealed in an envelope by your high school counselor or registrar. If your name has changed since leaving high school, ensure your current name is included on your transcript.

Official college transcript(s):

If you have completed any college coursework either during or post-high school, please submit official copies of transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities. To be considered official, transcripts should either be mailed in a sealed envelope directly from the college or university you attended or should be sent through an approved electronic transcript service provider. NOTE: You will be considered for admission as an incoming UA Online freshman if you have completed less than 12 transferable post-high school college semester units/credits.

Graduate Students

You are a graduate student if you have already earned a bachelor’s degree and you are planning to pursue a master’s degree.

Step 2 Complete Your Application

Ready to apply? Take the next step by creating your GradApp Graduate Admissions Application account where you can submit and track your application.

A complete application includes:

  1. A completed application form*
  2. Payment of application fee
  3. Official college transcript(s)

Step 3 Submit Your Transcript(s)

Through your GradApp account, be prepared to upload unofficial PDF versions of all transcripts. Some departments require official transcripts be sent to them directly for review, so be sure to check with them.

Graduate Certificate

Non-Degree Seeking

If you are working to fulfill pre-requisites in order to qualify for a graduate program and have been awarded a regionally accredited bachelor’s degree, you may enroll as a non-degree seeking student.
