How to Apply

Are you Ready to be a Wildcat? Before you begin your admissions application, please review the following steps for the undergraduate and graduate process.


Go to Application Portal

To complete the University of Arizona admissions application go to the application portal and create an account or log in.

When completing your application, be sure to select “Other Campus Locations” to access the Online Campus Application for Arizona Online

Pay the Fee

Pay $65 application fee (debit/credit) through the application portal using your UA Future account


Submit Transcripts

Submit official copies of transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities, including military institutions and Joint Service transcripts.

Send College Transcripts Electronically to:

(Note: The office of Registration and Transcripts can accept electronic transcripts processed by the sending institution through secure, third party vendors only. Please request that your electronic transcript be sent directly to this email address, not to yourself or to your advisor.)

To complete the University of Arizona admissions application go to the online portal.

Create Your Account

You’re almost there, just create your GradApp account. Then you will need to develop your student profile including personal information and previous education data



When completing your application, first choose online campus and then degree, certificate, or non-degree seeking to reveal the program of study options and semester choices. Next, work to complete the application checklist.


Pay the Fee

Pay the application fee, review, and submit your application:

$85 | degree and certificate programs
$45 | non-degree programs
$95 | international applications


Submit Transcripts

Once you have been approved but before you have registered for classes, you must submit official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities to the Graduate College.

Students whose names have changed should ensure their current name is included on all transcripts.

Check Your Status

Check with the department you intend to study with regarding submission of all needed transcripts, proof of degrees, test scores, and letters of recommendation.

Apply for Financial Aid

If you want to be considered for grants or scholarships you must complete Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA)

Priority FAFSA deadlines:
Fall > March 1st
Spring > November 1st

Next Steps & Registration

Once admitted, complete your Next Steps and orientation. Next Steps center will introduce you to your Academic Advisor, who will help you register for classes in UAccess.

Use your UAccess Student Center to review financial aid eligibility, accept/decline awards, and more. For more information, visit
