5 Ways to Get Credit
1Community College Allegiance Program
To help you reach your goal of earning a bachelor’s degree, the UA has partnered with all regionally accredited colleges across Arizona and California to develop transfer articulation agreements. This means your credits are guaranteed to transfer.
2Credit for Previous College Coursework
The more credits you can transfer in, the fewer courses you may need to take. We’ll grant elective or general education credit for coursework taken at a regionally accredited college or university in which you earned a C or better.
As a member of the U.S. military, you’ve gained a wide array of experiences you can apply to your educational career. Read up on Military Credits to learn how your service and experience can be articulated into credits.
4Arizona General Education Curriculum
Successfully completing the AGEC means all AGEC courses will transfer to the UA. If you complete it with a 2.5 GPA or better, you will be guaranteed admission. Learn more about AGEC.
Completing an associate degree program with full, regional accreditation provides a solid educational foundation, and you should only need an additional 50-60 credits to complete a bachelor's degree in a similar field of study at Arizona Online.
