Jasmine Williams, a Business Administration major, reflects on her personal and professional growth, highlighting her resilience and adaptability, exemplified by her five-year tenure as a Human Resources clerk at a Walmart distribution center and her role as Executive Vice President of the Associated Students of the ASUA-NY board.

Her achievements, including earning Dean's List distinction, aren't just accolades; they're milestones on a path paved with dedication. "Every accomplishment for me tells a story of persistence, faith, and the belief that I am capable of more than I could even imagine."

What truly ignites Jasmine’s spirit? Creativity. "I am deeply passionate about creativity, transforming a blank canvas into something full of life, meaning, and impact," she explains. Whether she's problem-solving, creating digital art, or simply brainstorming new ideas, she thrives on the act of creation. "I find so much joy in creation. I think this passion started when I realized how much I love organizing chaos, bringing structure to dreams, and making something that others could see, feel, or be inspired by. It's that moment when the idea becomes reality. That's what fuels me."

Jasmine's story is deeply rooted in her family's cultural tapestry. "My story is woven from the rich, vibrant culture of the Caribbean," she shares. Her mother, born in Belize, and her adopted father, from Jamaica, instilled in her the values of hard work, integrity, and unconditional love.

"My family journey is one of resilience, love, and culture, expressed in the food we cook, the music we dance to, and the stories that have been passed down. It's a heritage close to my heart, shaping how I move through the world."

"Looking back at my personal and professional life, I am incredibly proud of how far I've come, not just in the milestones but in personal growth."

These moments were more than just traditions; they were lessons in connection, faith, and the enduring power of family.

Her parents are her guiding lights. "Without hesitation, my parents have been my greatest influences," says Jasmine. "They didn't just teach me values; they lived them. They showed me what it means to work hard, to lift others up, to stand firm in integrity, and to love without conditions." Their unwavering belief in her has been her constant source of strength. "Their love is my foundation, and their belief in me is the wind that pushes me forward, even on the days when I feel like giving up."
