This course provides an overview of health care marketing and strategic planning theories, methods and applications for health care and public health organizations.
Examined health policy from an economic perspective. Explore basic economic theories and their relationships to the structure and function of the U.S. health care system. Evaluate alternative health care systems and health care reforms. Integrate and analyze data related to a contemporary problem of health care delivery or financing.
This course provides an overview of health care quality and safety. You will learn quality improvement concepts and techniques and will practice the techniques in teams.
This course offers a current approach to the fundamentals of budgeting and financial management, with an emphasis on non-profit health care organizations.
You will be introduced to the organizational structure of large complex health care organizations. You will compare them to other international health care systems, and illustrate how regulatory and legal requirements contribute to administrative and management challenges.
This course introduces you to the structure and functions of the U.S. Health Care System. The health care system in the community and its environment are examined to determine how they impact Health Services Administration.
