Prepare to pursue a career in the field of dietetics as a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) in as little as 12 months. Upon graduation, you will be eligible to sit the national exam required to earn the RDN credential.
Combine your online coursework with supervised experiential learning at community, clinical and food service sites. This program will fulfill the required coursework and the 1000 hours of supervised experiential learning necessary to become an RDN.
The PSM in Applied Nutrition– Dietetics Emphasis has met strict standards set by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) to be accredited as a Future Education Model Graduate Program.

Explore concepts of research methods with a focus on the varied research conducted in nutritional sciences.
Understand basic statistical concepts and applied statistical strategies that are essential for conducting and critiquing research in nutritional sciences and related fields.
Review the multi-facets of macronutrient metabolism and application to the prevention and development of common chronic diseases.
Advance your understanding of research design, methods, and implementation, interpretation of research findings, and advances in nutrition science research for selected chronic diseases.
Learn to provide medical nutrition therapy for select complex acute and chronic diseases.
