Program Details

Build an independent perspective on the nature of politics and how it influences government and society. Explore how political institutions and processes help shape government policies and their consequences. You will also have the opportunity to assess individual, group and mass behavior in political settings through both humanistic and scientific perspectives.

With critical thinking and writing skills, you will be prepared to pursue graduate training and careers in business, law, state, local and federal government, journalism, international organizations and finance, political campaigns, interest groups and associations and teaching at the primary, secondary and college levels.

 

This College of Social and Behavioral Sciences major requires a minor (or double major).
