This program offers qualifying employees an option for delayed payment with direct billing to GEICO for approved classes, eliminating upfront tuition costs to the employee.
New to Arizona Online? Here are your next steps:
- Arizona Online Admissions Process: Complete the Arizona Online admissions process and enroll in courses in order to list those courses on the internal GEICO Tuition Reimbursement application.
- Receive approval from GEICO/EdAssist with a copy of your letter of credit
-
Email your letter of credit to FNSV-BursarAR@arizona.edu prior to the course start date to have your tuition billed directly to GEICO and to avoid late fees.
-
*PLEASE NOTE:
-
When you receive your tuition statement, you will see the standard University of Arizona student library fee. The prorated amount paid by Arizona Online students will be $25 per credit hour, up to seven credit hours ($175 maximum) per semester. Learn more about the wide range of library services and resources for online and hybrid students.
- Direct billing invoices GEICO directly for the tuition cost, library fee, Arizona Financial Aid Trust fee and inclusive access textbooks charged to your bursar account when a valid Letter of Credit is received by our Bursar's Office prior to your course start dates. Please pay any remaining balances not covered by GEICO's tuition assistance by the deadline listed in your Arizona Online student account to avoid late fees.
- Prior to the payment hold being added, your account may reflect a “DUE NOW” balance. As a reminder, please submit your letter of credit to FNSV-BursarAR@arizona.edu PRIOR to your course start date.

Direct Billing Students FAQ
You may receive paper bills by mail despite being approved for delayed billing. Paper bills are automatically mailed every 7 weeks. If you have register for courses more than one month before the session begins, you will likely receive at least one bill by mail. To verify if the delayed billing hold has been added to your account, log in to your Student Center and go to > Account Inquiry > Activity. Once the delayed billing hold has been added to your account, you will see the delayed amount listed as “Transferred to a 3rd party” and that balance will no longer listed as a current or outstanding charge. Any remaining balances not covered by direct billing will be listed as a current or outstanding charge under the Account Inquiry> Summary tab, and will need to be paid by the due date listed. If you would like to confirm you have completed the tasks needed for delayed billing, please view the steps above, or reach out to our corporate enrollment team: (520) 686-5035 or email: onlineadmissions@arizona.edu
If you receive a grade below a C-, or withdraw from a class, your letter of credit will still cover the cost of the course; however, please reach out to GEICO to determine how this may impact your use of tuition assistance.
Yes, we need official transcripts from any regionally accredited institution that you attended. For questions regarding your transcripts, please contact our corporate enrollment team at: Phone: (520) 686-5035 or email: onlineadmissions@arizona.edu
You could be eligible to receive transfer credit from your previous courses as long as they are from a regionally accredited institution, are college level, are applicable to your degree program and you received a C or better.
Any remaining tuition and fees not covered by GEICO is due the day your classes begin.
All students can view and print their account activity on UAccess. From the Account Inquiry page, select "Activity". Custom itemized statements can only be provided to students for terms in which they were enrolled in a Arizona Online program, where tuition is billed at a flat rate. If a student is enrolled in an Arizona Online program and needs an itemized statement, they can send a request via the Email Form. Grades will not be included on this statement.
