Earning a BA or undergraduate minor in Information Science & eSociety will develop your ability to think critically about information and the ways that people use and influence technology. This may range from web design to information manipulation and propaganda, to the impact of social media on daily life.

You will also develop your skills to communicate using a variety of digital and social media tools, including digital storytelling and social networks. Learn to create programs and solutions in online digital environments that are effective, inclusive and respectful of diverse people and groups.

The University of Arizona College of Information Science is the first and only iSchool in the state of Arizona, part of a global consortium of information schools dedicated to advancing the information field. The field is widely recognized for creating innovation systems and designing information solutions that benefit individuals, organizations and society. While each individual iSchool has its own strengths and specializations, together they share a fundamental interest in the relationships between information, people and technology.
