Program Details
The knowledge of culture, communication skills, economics and management strategies gained with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Economy and Industry forms a solid foundation for a variety of careers. Students can learn using a multidisciplinary approach or by selecting a focus in one area such as the environment, the arts or marketing.
Economy and Industry graduates work in retail, customer relations, nonprofits, local government, and development fields including management, human resources, public relations and program design. This focus theme is also good preparation for graduate studies in business administration.
Interdisciplinary Studies, like many majors, teaches content and skills that can be applied to a wide variety of career fields.
As of Fall 2022, transfer students can apply up to 75 credits to their degree plan for Interdisciplinary Studies.
